With ever changing trends and technology, it’s so important to be ahead of the curve and up to date with innovative launches.
The Eurocucina kitchen show in Milan, which took place recently, brings together the changes in direction for the kitchen industry and where it is headed.
Don’t worry if you’ve not heard of it…
Eurocucina is an international kitchen furniture exhibition that takes place every two years. It plays host to a wealth of cutting edge kitchen specialists all willing to pass on their insights from across the continent.
Marco Rossi, Nobia’s Category Range Development Manager, was in attendance and picked up some great design ideas.
This year Marco and the team learnt more about creative storage solutions, particularly between the worktop and wall units where tiles and backsplashes are being displaced by clever “slide and hide” designs.
“There was a significant emphasis on the transparent kitchen, with a number of designs utilising glass and integrated plastic drawers that can show your fruit and vegetables.”
Marco added that “many of the kitchens on display there were “industrial” in their appearance, with grey and dark 'thermo' coloured units featuring regularly.
“Eurocucina never fails to inspire us, and always gives us food for thought when it comes to creating new ranges.
“This year was no different and you can expect see some more innovative and on-trend designs from us in the future!”
